This French remake of Broadchurch series one was filmed and set in Corsica.

The murder of a child sends shock waves through the seemingly close-knit and peaceful village of Malaterra on the “Isle of Beauty”. Gendarmerie Captain Thomas Rotman (Simon Abkarian), a stranger to the town, together with Chief Warrant Officer Karine Marchetti (Constance Dollé), lead the investigation, with Rotman believing the killer is hiding in the community.
